“My, my, my, my, my, welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome to the Land of Expectations, Expectations, Expectations!”

I’m currently a college student located in central Pennsylvania, trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. My current job is working as a hostess at a hotel. 

I grew up in a small town about an hour away from Buffalo, New York.  When I finished high school I moved to southern Florida with my boyfriend, Josh, for about three years.  We had quite the adventure.  Unfortunately the living expenses were high and if we wanted to be able to finish college we had to move up north again.  I think we made the best decision.

I have plenty of interesting stories that I could tell you but until someone asks, they will continue to be my own, my precious. 

I’m privileged. Whether or not I even recognize this fact, I will still be partaking in the benefits of a white racist society. I try my best to mind my privileges, but when I do mess up, I always appreciate it being pointed out to me.
